I feel like being nice, for the next month I want everyone to post here who u have recently helped and what you did for them the person who not exactly did the most but sticks out to me the most will get the eternal and what would you do with the eternal if you won!

As I see it, all of you put a lot of work into this, you deserve at least some answers regarding its legitimacy. I will make contact with the OP himself to get to the bottom of this, and hopefully put your minds at ease.

One of my old friends im not exactly sure if he still plays havent seen him on in a while, i helped him get both legendary defender of asacalon and legendary survivor on the saem character. best part is we got it.....not fun. and he was suppose to help me get my lengendary defender but liek i said i think he stopped playin. we'll c wut happens!

- I met him in HA about 1 1/2 year ago. At the time i was r0 or something and shouted out LF ppl for GvG, R7+ etc - Well i asked nicely and he said sure, u can come

And there it started we did LOOOOADS of GvG's and everything! He Introduced me to alot of other Pvp players, and high ranks ones. I joined his guild and we did ALOT of Guildhopping toghetere:P We never really found our place, but we always sticked toghetere. We helped each other, and whenever someone of us got a GvG - we always pm'ed each other

I where on the edge to stopping GW, after beeing in a PvE guild, and noone accepted lowranks pvpers, but he gave me a chance, and toghetere im pretty sure we have around 120gvgs~ under our belt toghetere

Well all in all i play GW because of GvG, altough he is actually a kind of biatch since he took about 2000 hours of my IRL and swapped em into Gaming hours:P But atleast i made a good e-friend ;D

will get the eternal and what would you do with the eternal if you won!

Probably used it since i need a q8 Shield for playing in TA etc, and ofc it looks very nice^^

the thing i do most is that i use my trading skills to get him great bargains whenever he needs. ove wintersday i raptored enough booze foir him to get R1 drunkard bought him celestial compass and a elite rt tome. he cant play as much as me but i reckon i play enough for both of us . i do not consider that he leeches of me because he helps me with everyday problems .

I've helped a lot of people, not sure who, but lots. When I get heavy on gold/green inventory, I like to go to low-level areas and give stuff away, preferably Ascalon or Kamadan. Not in an obnoxious, self-ingratiating way like shouting, "first one who 'finds' me gets a such-and-such", but in a casual way in local chat like, "giving away gold such-and-such to a level 12 and under <class who can use such-and-such>". I've emptied loads of gold q9 (and others) in this way. I love the positive comments and what seems to be genuine happiness that those who get the item feel, I figured the 200-300 gold (or 1-2k per green) that I could have gotten for these items doesn't compare to the increased potential that new players have from maxed weapons and hopefully it instills a sense of giving in them. I know this is just a game, but it is also a good life lesson. While seemlingly selfishly-altruistic, I figure the circle might come round. If it does, cool. If not, cool. Anyway, since you haven't specified the type of eternal it is (bow/shield/blade), I might actually give it away one day, too if I were to get it. Cool contest, btw...and gl to all those hoping to get it.

I first met him in HA we played some fun build about 1 year and half ago , i added him to my fl and later on i asked him to guest for some gvg's and there we ran a balanced or a split build with unranked people /ventless people but it was realy fun ^_^ he would always play the monk "caller" XD since he was prolly the only one with a mic then , anyway we formed several different guilds as soon as the rating dropped below 990 we would disband and make a new one but it was all good fun =]] me, moman and him in the split team ^^ he always used to help people he didn't know out giving them free gold , about a year ago he gave me so much money to guest people i would say a good 50-60k which you may think is not realistic for guesting but believe me it was. he would always be the first to help someone , support a guild out etc =] this guy realy deserves it

Well wheni started Gw, i went alone from guild to guild and didnt know what was what till around a year later. I was in a guild *cant remember tag because iv been in so many

* and i slowly accumulated money not to a pooint to get fow armor but good enough.Roughly around 300k. i was told i was one of their top members and was in sight for a promotion to officer. as 2 weeks passed i was waiting for the day iw ould log on to be seen on the guild list as officer. I checked i was still a member and that there was only 15 people left. * an officer went on a kick run and kicked off 70 members * I was told that also the guild leaders account was hacked and that was how so many members were kicked. Not many others in the guild were finacially gifted as i was and feeling kinda sad as i started to know the leader through TS i donated 250k on my 300 or so to himi so he could at least restart his character with good armor and weapon sets. I later left because I just wanted to restart in another guild but we were talking still later as friends until he decided to leave gw because he was bored with it.

As for what I would do with the r8 eternal... ATM im in YaRR( necrid pirates) *lux*

and we are speculating on a community party on a special weekend or event. Im looking to lead the event and have lots of goodies already piled up. If i was to win i would sell the sword... BUT NOT TO USE THE MONEY FOR MY PLEASURE but use it for the party and re-distribute it back fairly to the community in forms of z keys, prizes, materials, booze, sugar, party items that ill give away.

I already have a good ammount of money and alot of armor sets and weapons so this would only benifit other people not me

I know this isn't as good as other's givings, but it's worth a shot. Well, Ive never really been into guildwars that much, for im not very good at it, but i play it to have fun or when im really bored. Sure, ive gotten to level 20 in a couple of characters, but i have never even owned over 40k at one time (32k i think is my highest). Well, when im bored and just sitting in an outpost i always see these people charging outrages prices for runs. For example, in the desert area, people charge up to 500g a stop. I think to my self how some of these people only have as much money as i do (my avg. is about 8k) and how a run can really dig into their pockets. So whenever i dont plan on doing anything with my money (almost always, lol) and i dont need anymore money, i always run people for free. Sure i do charge when i need money, but i only charge 300g for each mission, and stops are free due to the fact that they are all pretty much on the way. So thats my way of giving back to the community, and if you ever need a run in the prophecies campaign, just hit me up. IGN = Ranger Man Man Man.

Also: I would use the eternal and probably never sell it. If i ever stoped playing Guild Wars, then I would give it to someone.

I usually randomly go to Ascalon or Kamadan and yell "helping newer players" and get pm's. I find a new player and teach them loads about the game and usually buy their first armor set or weapon. I've done this with probably 5 or more people and it's really fun for me.

I don't neccesarily give them 10k or anything, just help them out and learn the ropes. I give them knowledge that is more valuable than just giving a newer player a gold.

during wintersday i gave free money and items to random players at ascalon city and lion arch to bring up the wintersday spirit even to forners who dont celebrate xmas. In addition i helped players to understand how winterdays event work hence when i firstly played i missed the event, items and fun since i didnt know how to manipulate the events traders. Secodly i also took people from pre to the xmas event so they could participate. By this i helped people to join the xmas event and help them gain more friends and fun i made few friends. I think i desreve the sheild hence giving is most important to people who give also.

My name is shabi and i think Sr. i am the most suitable for gaining this sheild.

I collect weapons.. lots of them.. I also chest run and farm excessively. So if I get something like a perfect stat weapon that I don't want and don't feel I have time to sell, I go to Ascalon and select active district. (usually 2 or 3 american) and Just go around looking for low level players and give out max gold perfect stat weapons till I'm all out. I figure I don't need the 2-5K i could get or even 10K considering it will take me days to sell it. So I remember a long time ago when I was new a guy gave me a gold Cesta with max stats and it was req 10 i believe. I was so stoked and it made me so happy to have something gold and all that jazz.. So I figure, if I can make another person who is just out of presearing feel that same way then I have done something decent.

Depending on what it is, I'd probably keep it and use it. Lookin for r8 eternal and magmas, so.. that'd be one of two shields.

well i created a guild once about 2 years ago and me and my gf use to play on the same account.

i already had some nice titles most npcs on the guild hall good members and i gave the account to my gf then i bought a new 1 for me ,then about 4 months ago we both got hacked (not only on gw might have been some kind of key logger, /formated hdisk) i had 2 mini kunnas unded both i was 1 title away from r3 koabd had 3 elite armours on my account,gf had ele fow + 2 other elite armours and everything got deleted guildies where kicked guild got deleted too.

back when i had lots of un needed items i grabbed my assasin and went to shing jea ( i actually did this the last time i had all my goodies ,then the next day afthis i was hacked) so when i went to shing jea i randomly added people to my party and told them it was a drop party so what i used to do was shadow sepping running arround linnok courtyard droppping tomes,elite tomes ,gaki summons and i also dropped req9 zodiac daggers) i use to run alot of vs farming and i remember alot of poeple knew my assasin his name was: i i i sub zero i i i remember people gave me good comments cause i rarely failed at vs farming runs( i really need to remake my assasin i had vabbian top and legs shing jea boots ice gloves and mask of the mo zing ,omg i loved this combination i miss my old main on picture i think ima qq)

so right now we just got back on lvling up chars re started the guild we have been helping each other out re doing everything is not fun at all ,but some guildmates are back to the guild now they have supported us just as we supported them in the past.

this past canthan event was very helpful gf got 3 mini oxes :P so we got some armours and extra stuff whit that we also did a small event whit the few guildmates we have atm gave away items worth like 20k total but it was a lil fun other than just getting a prize. anyways if i would get your shield as a prize i think i would sell it ( as much as i would like to keep it) but i would spend the money on GH npcs this way it will benefit every guild member cause it really bothers me(and others) to go to other guild halls to use their npcs :/ .
and it would actually help to get more attention for newcomers to stay in the guild cause whe are like 15 members( few are active) and we do need some more activity

btw :who ever gets this item i hope you will use it for a real good benefit( i think some are just here cause they are greedy) i can prove my story is actually true sending a guild invite.

Well, for the last month, I've been farming/running CoF and giving money to my best friend to help him get obsidian armor, as payback for him helping me to get mine. Also, I gave a couple free Sanctum, Droks, and Citadel runs.

If I won the eternal [insert weapon/offhand type here], I would probably sell it, and use the money to help max out my new guild's GH.

well i am typicly poor and i know the feeling so i found a noob and helped him get to the bone palce and he seen the amour in there and he ask how do you have that much cash well i ponderd my thoughts and i decided i was doing good latly and bought him 4/5 peaces of the anciant amour then gave him some bow mods i dont like games where people are stuck up and dont help any one but them selfs so i decided i would help in my own little way and if i got the eturnal i would probly custamize it because its my favorite skin and go kill some people in ab xD then i would give my ol zodaic sword to my friend ps KILL PEOPLE lol well i dont want to wast any more of your time thank you for reading this message and being genrous enough to give that wep away
